Kay G. Rock retired from corporate life at age 65 and is now pursuing a lifelong dream of becoming a writer.  Kay wrote a monthly column for the Bucks County Herald from January 2011 to December 2015, covering a wide range of topics and observations that include travel, history, relationships, daily life, and inspirational people.  At the encouragement of her readers and her husband, she compiled these articles into a book of essays entitled, Over the Hill and Gaining Speed.

The author has been previously published in the Philadelphia Inquirer, The Intelligencer, Episcopal Life, Psychology Today, The Manchester Review, and St. Martin's Cloak.  A collection of her poems appears in Soliloquy, a literary magazine.  She is also the author of a Kindle eBook entitled Everything I Know About Relationships I learned Dancing.  It is available at www.amazon.com.

Kay lives in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her above-average husband.  They delight in their five exceptional grandchildren and frequent travels.
